Oh it has been such a tragedy - the Liverpool v Man Utd game. My analysis: Liverpool need to start believing in themselves. Watching the game was demoralizing. Man Utd were initially cautious. But Liverpool did not show their best and were not on their toes in moving on the pitch. Sadly, the sent-off came and how did they behave after that? They covered themselves in their shells! Any novice will say go all out for broke as you do not have anything to lose from then on. But there was little force, more caution. And it ended as the story unfolds where a team capitalizes on another's weakness in numbers.
Learning point here - character needs to be shown under pressure. Mark of a strong club like Liverpool should have shone under this dire situation but it ended negatively. How they will proceed? Only the players have the answer - pick yourselves up and get on - find another opportunity to shine... Soccer similar to life... Strong character rules over adversity - Tough times don't last but tough people do...
